Our Privacy Commitment

Speed Test Plus is built with privacy by design. We believe internet speed testing is a basic utility, and you shouldn't have to sacrifice your privacy to use it.

What We Don't Collect

We want to be crystal clear about what we do NOT collect:

  • We do not collect your IP address
  • We do not store your speed test results on our servers
  • We do not use analytics tracking (Google Analytics, etc.)
  • We do not use tracking cookies
  • We do not require registration or personal information
  • We do not share any data with third parties
  • We do not create user profiles or fingerprints

Local Data Storage

Speed Test Plus stores your test history locally in your browser using the Web Storage API (localStorage). This data:

  • Never leaves your device
  • Is only accessible to you
  • Can be cleared at any time using the "Clear History" button or by clearing your browser data
  • Is automatically limited to your 50 most recent tests

Third-Party Services

During speed tests, data is transmitted to and from the following services:

  • Cloudflare (speed.cloudflare.com): Used as the test server for measuring download and upload speeds. Cloudflare's own privacy policy applies to data they process. Speed test traffic is standard HTTP traffic.

We also load resources from CDNs:

  • Google Fonts: For typography (Inter, JetBrains Mono)
  • jsDelivr CDN: For Font Awesome icons

These services may log standard server access information. Please refer to their respective privacy policies for details.

Advertising

Our site may display advertisements through Google AdSense or similar networks. These ad networks may use cookies and collect data according to their own privacy policies. We recommend reviewing:

Children's Privacy

Speed Test Plus does not knowingly collect any information from children under 13. Our service is available for general use without any data collection.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
